Blick über das Meer nach Macao. - Das Blatt entstand auf der Weltreise von Capitain Cyrille Pierre Theodore Laplace (1793-1875) mit der franz, Corvette "La Favorite". die er im Auftrag der franz. Regierung unternahm. Er besuchte dabei Singapore, Manila, Rio de Janeiro, Valparaiso (Chile) usw. Dazu Sabin 38985: "... the finest series of plates to any of the pictoresque voyages". - Tadellos erhalten.
